Pips is the New York Times’ newest little brain teaser, and it’s got that same just one more round pull as Wordle or Connections. The game looks simple at first - just dots you need to sort out—but it quickly turns into a test of how fast you can spot patterns and think on your feet. What I like is that it doesn’t drag on; you can play it in a couple of minutes, yet it still leaves you feeling sharp and satisfied. It’s the kind of puzzle that slips easily into a morning routine or a quick break in the day.
