Have anybody been able to play two instances of Forza Horizon 5 with Aster? I was able to launch two Steams after I updated the Aster, and I can launch two Forza Horizon 5 games now that I have installed them to two locations. However, I cannot get both instances to online (Horizon Life) at the same time. Both game clients can get individually to online, but not when the other client is already online. I tried to tackle this issue by setting static IP addresses to my wifi network adapter and ethernet network adapter, and then assigning these IPs to the workplaces. Both workspaces have access to internet, and there are strong implications that it happens through the specified network adapter, since if I turn off the wifi, the other workspace has no longer acces to the internet. Nonetheless, I cannot go online on both clients simultaneously, I get an error message that reads "unable to join session" Is it possible that Forza still binds to the same adapter? I also wonder why changing the clientport on Steam launch options didn't help. Now that they have different IP:s and MAC:s I can't figure out why it is not working. Maybe I should have Steam installed on separate locations as well as the game?
Any help or thought would be welcome. Thanks in advance!
Edit: We have two legitimately bought Steam copies of the game.

Even with separate IPs and MACs, Xbox Live likely sees both games as coming from the same machine/network, causing conflicts.
1. Change interface priority (via adapter metrics).
2. Use a VPN or mobile hotspot on one workspace to isolate network traffic.
3. Install separate Steam instances for each workspace.
4. Use port forwarding or firewall rules to bind services to specific IPs.
Let me know if you want help with any of these steps.

It definitely seems like Forza Horizon 5 (or maybe even Steam itself) still binds both instances to the same network route despite the IP/MAC separation, possibly due to how NAT handles outbound traffic. Installing Steam in separate directories might help isolate the instances more fully, especially if the clientport tweak didn’t resolve it. Also, double-check if Xbox Live services (which FH5 uses) are detecting the same machine footprint. Maybe try different Windows user accounts per ASTER workspace too—sometimes game services tie to OS-level profiles. Curious to hear if you get it working!

It might be worth checking whether Forza Horizon 5’s online authentication ties to your hardware IDs beyond just IP and MAC addresses, such as the machine’s GUID or other system identifiers. Using virtual machines or sandboxed environments for each instance could help fully isolate these IDs. Also, consider testing with different Xbox Live accounts on each instance to see if that makes a difference. Sometimes, the backend prevents multiple sessions from the same account or device to avoid cheating or exploits. Let me know if you want suggestions on setting up VMs or sandbox tools!

I have integrated 2 online players but that seems to be harder than I thought, you can use them best if you provide a router for different MAC and reset IP.
