You can try:
Check if there are any pendingtime shooter 2 Windows updates and install them to see if it solves the issue.
Try resetting or repairing the Microsoft Store.
Troubleshoot your game controller by testing it on the Test tab of the Properties window.
I think that they will be helpful for you.

Compatibility is one of the primary issues I've encountered. Frequently, Microsoft Store titles have trouble recognizing gamepads, particularly when multiple controllers are involved. Although Aster is a promising software for multi-user environments, it appears to exacerbate this issue. Effectively configuring and managing the controllers becomes difficult, resulting in frustration and wasted time.

You can try go to Workstation 2 settings for the virtual machine (VM) where you're playing Minecraft Bedrock. Under the "USB" section, ensure the gamepad is selected for "Passthrough." This allows the VM to directly access the gamepad hardware.

It can be difficult for games sold on the Microsoft Store to recognize gamepads, especially when there are many controllers involved. It would appear that Aster makes this problem even worse, despite the fact that it is a promising product for contexts with multiple users. The process of effectively configuring and managing the controllers becomes more difficult, which leads to irritation and a loss of necessary time.
