Xbox Adaptor - Wireless Controller
Xbox Adaptor - Wireless Controller
I use the Xbox brand adapter to play games on my PC using my Xbox One Controller. It works flawlessly under normal conditions, but does not seem to jive with Aster. When setting up Workstations it does show the gamepad, and it registers that I am pushing buttons on it, but nothing happens in game on either workstation. Does anyone have recommendations?
I have a monitor per workstation, however only one keyboard and one mouse. Should I start by connecting a second set of each first?

Re: Xbox Adaptor - Wireless Controller
Contact technical support from GUI ASTER.
This will also send a technical report, so the controller must be connected to the PC.

Re: Xbox Adaptor - Wireless Controller
To get a dual-user gaming setup working with ASTER and an Xbox adapter, you must assign a unique keyboard and mouse to each workstation because the software cannot split a single set of peripherals between two independent sessions. While the adapter can sync multiple controllers, ASTER often struggles to pull individual signals from a single wireless USB bus, so the most reliable fix is to connect the second controller via Bluetooth or a dedicated USB cable to provide it with a distinct hardware ID. Once you have separate input devices for each user, simply drag the specific controller's hardware icon to the correct workplace in the ASTER control panel and ensure your games are running in windowed or borderless mode for proper input focus. Would you like me to explain how to separate those specific hardware IDs in the ASTER settings menu?L1v3w1r3 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 11:43 pmI use the Xbox brand adapter to play games on my PC using my Xbox One Controller.
