Which Windows 10 edition is the best for gaming?

Hello everyone,,

Windows 10 Home and Pro will function exactly the same for gaming. The Pro SKU is not inherently faster than Home, it's just a different feature set and these features are nothing that will affect gaming whatsoever.

So the question really is, will you use your gaming PC for anything else where you might find the features exclusive to Pro to come in handy-- BitLocker, Remote Desktop host capability, local group policy, client Hyper-V, etc. If any of that sounds good, go for Pro. The only other benefit would be the ability to defer new CB builds(the feature upgrades for the OS that will hit 1-2 times per year), whereas Windows 10 Home will not let you defer them for installation at a later date.

If you are looking at other editions like Enterprise and Enterprise LTSB, ignore those. They're volume-only SKUs that you as a normal consumer cannot legally obtain. I'm sure you'll probably hear someone suggest LTSB because "it doesn't have any of the modern apps" or something, but just know that they're giving awful advice if they're telling you to look at Enterprise LTSB.
