You can try:
Check if there are any pendingtime shooter 2 Windows updates and install them to see if it solves the issue.
Try resetting or repairing the Microsoft Store.
Troubleshoot your game controller by testing it on the Test tab of the Properties window.
I think that they will be helpful for you.

Compatibility is one of the primary issues I've encountered. Frequently, Microsoft Store titles have trouble recognizing gamepads, particularly when multiple controllers are involved. Although Aster is a promising software for multi-user environments, it appears to exacerbate this issue. Effectively configuring and managing the controllers becomes difficult, resulting in frustration and wasted time.

You can try go to Workstation 2 settings for the virtual machine (VM) where you're playing Minecraft Bedrock. Under the "USB" section, ensure the gamepad is selected for "Passthrough." This allows the VM to directly access the gamepad hardware.

It can be difficult for games sold on the Microsoft Store to recognize gamepads, especially when there are many controllers involved. It would appear that Aster makes this problem even worse, despite the fact that it is a promising product for contexts with multiple users. The process of effectively configuring and managing the controllers becomes more difficult, which leads to irritation and a loss of necessary time.

When Workstation 1 receives any input (keyboard, mouse, controller), VMware reclaims focus and the HID stack.

This is a known limitation with Aster's input sharing model. When Workstation 1 receives keyboard/mouse input, it can "steal" focus from shared USB devices including gamepads.

A few things to try:

1. **Assign the gamepad exclusively to Workstation 2** in Aster's device assignment settings, rather than sharing it between stations.
2. If using a USB hub, plug each controller directly into a port and assign it to its respective workstation.
3. Check if enabling "exclusive input mode" per workstation resolves the conflict.

If the issue persists after exclusive assignment, it may be a USB arbitration bug specific to Xbox input drivers under Aster. Worth submitting a support ticket to IBIK with your Aster version and Windows build.

In ASTER Multiseat, this is usually caused by input sharing/focus behavior rather than the gamepads themselves. When Workstation 1 receives keyboard or mouse input, ASTER can reassign or interfere with shared HID devices, which makes the controller stop responding on Workstation 2.

The fix is to assign each gamepad exclusively to its respective workstation (USB passthrough / device assignment) instead of sharing it, and avoid letting both sessions compete for the same input devices. This ensures each session keeps independent control without one workstation overriding the other.
