Aster ver2.6 and Win11 24h2 I Dont shutdown/Signout/restart

Post by Febhouse » Fri Dec 27, 2024 2:34 pm

Hello,
I used Aster 2.5 and Windows 23h2 normally, very useful
But things started happening when Microsoft upgraded to Win11 24H2, And Aster asked me to upgrade to ver2.6 to be compatible with Windows 24H2
Everything seemed fine at first, but when I turned off the computer, my computer was stuck at signout user, I couldn't shutdown, restart, or sign out user/switch user.
I thought it was due to a system error when updating 24H2. So I reset my PC (erased everything) and reinstalled the operating system Windows 11 24H2
Everything is normal, but when I reinstall Aster 2.6, I can't turn off or restart, sign out/switch user
Now I don't dare turn on Aster.
I hope Aster will find and fix soon. If not, I may have to go back to Windows 11 23H2

I'm writing here to see if anyone has the same problem as me?
Tks.

Looks like I've fixed this.
It occurs because the Windows driver cannot be updated.
We need to delete the update that cannot be deleted (my error is identical to the error in the link below)
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/win ... 3a074178ac
After clearing that update error, the system operates normally. I will check in the next 1 or 2 days and confirm again.
Thanks for the help from Aster

Last week I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Fresh Windows 11 install on a new M.2 drive. Everything was going fine, reinstalling a lot of my software, Aster was near the top of that list. So a few hours in after all the Windows updates and a few other pieces of software I installed the version of Aster I had downloaded the week before while preparing for the upgrade and gathering all the installers I would need.

When I installed Aster it all went BSOD, over and over and I wasn't able to save the install, ended up starting all over. When I went to the website I saw they had removed the download because of a known issue with 24h2. Looks like they have fixed the issue now and a new download is available. I will try to reinstall later in the week. That will teach me to download installs early  . One reason I put off upgrading to Windows 11 was so that all the software I use would have solid support under the new OS.

Sorry but the log shows that purple won 49 to 48 that was the score in the room and even the purple team was congratulating each other after the game. So that is why they were awarded the Tournament win.
