Monitors Defaulting to 60Hz Refresh Rate

Post by timcuencs » Sat Nov 16, 2024 9:37 am

Hi,

I've been using ASTER for a while without any issues, but the recent updates seem to have broken the refresh rate configuration for my monitors. My setup includes one 144Hz display and one 75Hz display. When I disable ASTER, both monitors run at their rated refresh rates. However, when I enable ASTER, both monitors default to 60Hz, and I have to manually adjust the settings after every reboot. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Thanks!

Hiii,
As far as I know to fix the problem with refresh rate when using ASTER drift boss, you can try to check the settings in ASTER, make sure there is no option that changes the monitor configuration. Next, update your graphics driver to avoid conflicts with the software. If the problem persists, you can try to uninstall and reinstall ASTER to reset the default configuration. If that doesn't work, I think you should go to the store to ask the staff.

Good luck!

You can try the following methods to solve this problem:

Check ASTER settings: Firstly, please ensure that you have checked the settings options of the latest version of ASTER software to see if there are any configuration options regarding monitor refresh rate. Sometimes updated software may introduce new settings or options.

Update graphics card driver: Try updating the graphics card driver on your computer. Sometimes issues with graphics card drivers may cause abnormal behavior in the refresh rate settings of the monitor. Go to the official website of the graphics card manufacturer to download and install the latest graphics card drivers.

Your issue with ASTER may be related to reconfiguring the refresh rate. One solution is to check your software settings and make sure it supports the refresh rate you need. Also, trying updating your graphics driver or ASTER to the latest version may help fix the issue. While you wait for a solution, you can relax with a game of Snow Rider 3D – a great way to have fun!
