How to Prevent Windows from Re-arranging when Displayport Monitor goes to sleep? (Multi Montior)
How to Prevent Windows from Re-arranging when Displayport Monitor goes to sleep? (Multi Montior)
For anyone who has multiple monitors and display port this has probably driven you crazy at some point. But when your computer sleeps / monitor "turns off", windows thinks you have removed it, so will re-arrange all windows on it to other monitors. Same when you wake, it will think that its a new monitor and will re-order / arrange your other monitors.
There are many posts about this on stackoverflow and other places, but I have yet to find a solution that works for AMD and Windows 10. Anyone out there have a solution?

I have the same problem.

I had the same issue, here's the solution: Turn off Aster - Restart computer - Re-arrange all monitors the way you want. - Turn On Aster - Restart Computer. That's it.

When this problem occurs, turn off the computer and disconnect the monitor from the power on which you use the DP. After that, just turn everything back on and it goes back to normal.
I am suggesting this when a monitor occurs in eternal "sleep" mode causing a mini stutter on the other display. I hope this helps you all.
