Solved: Left click not registering and mouse leaving out + no cursor

Post by max007 » Mon Mar 20, 2017 5:28 am

I am trying trial version of aster.

I had 2 issues which I solved and am going to leave the information here for others to find since I only found information for no cursor.

1.) No cursor in games
Playing windowed is not ideal situation. What worked for me, was right clicking on the workspace and checking hardaware cursor and restarting.

2.) Left click not registering, leaving out sometimes
Noticed when played overwatch. This worked for some reason:

1. Go into the Start Menu.
2. Click 'Settings'.
3. In the Settings window, choose the 'Devices' option.
4. On the left sidebar, click 'Mouse & touchpad'.
5. Now look at the options in the right side of the window. Scroll down until you see the 'Touchpad' heading, and look for this part: To help prevent the cursor from accidentally moving while you type, change the delay before clicks work.
Click on the dropdown menu below this and choose 'No delay (always on)'.

I also had an issue with black screen after reboot. No idea really what helped, but after resetting it and setting it again it started to work from 1 GPU so not touching that setting again :D
