While trying to play overwatch at the same time, the mouse would randomly pause clicking, and only one of us could shoot at a time. It still allows you to look around, but it forces you to stop shooting for random 3-4 second intervals at a time and it makes the game unplayable.
I've scoured the internet and this website, the only thing I found being a thread about fixing it a while ago:
https://www.forum-en.ibik.ru/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2722&p=3587&hilit=mouse+overwatch#p3587
I also found another thread about Overwatch and Battlenet, but we've tried using the battlenet launcher instead and to no avail.

Any suggestions? Thank you !

Good! With its minimalist visuals and focus on mechanical skill,
speed stars appeals to both casual gamers and competitive speedrunners.

Mouse bug (intermittent clicking, only one person can shoot) makes Overwatch unplayable. Users have searched the internet and forums but have not found a solution.

Sounds like a weird input conflict or polling issue especially if only one can shoot at a time. Could be HID/mouse driver overlap or USB resource contention. Try isolating devices (separate USB controllers/ports) or disabling background overlays (like GeForce Experience or Discord). Also test with raw input on/off in-game.
