USB devices randomly switching between workstations
Hi,
I’m currently using ASTER on Windows 10 (22H2) with two workstations on a single PC. Overall the setup works well, but I’m running into an issue where USB devices (mainly keyboards and mice) occasionally get reassigned to the wrong workplace after waking the system from sleep or after a reboot.
The displays stay mapped correctly, but input devices sometimes jump to the main workstation, forcing me to unplug and reconnect them or restart ASTER to fix it. This doesn’t happen every time, which makes it harder to reproduce consistently.
Has anyone experienced something similar, or is there a recommended setting or workaround to prevent USB reassignment on startup/sleep? Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: USB devices randomly switching between workstations
You might try disabling USB power saving in Windows Device Manager because sleep can cause devices to reconnect in a different order. Some users also fix this by keeping keyboards and mice on dedicated USB ports instead of hubs.
